Bio Information:

 

Davinia was born with a visual impairment, with a condition known as Stargardts Macular Dystrophy.

The LTA Mixed Coxed Four crew competed in the 2016 Final Paralympic Qualification Regatta in Switzerland earlier in 2016, where they made history, qualifying Australia’s first ever boat, for the Paralympics, in this category. The regatta was Davinia’s first ever International regatta.

Lefroy participated in rowing throughout her high school life however was unaware of para-rowing at elite level until Australian senior para-rowing coach, Gordon Marcks, suggested she come and trial for the LTA Mixed Coxed Four.

Davinia recognises her selection on the 2016 Australian Paralympic Team as her greatest sporting achievement to date.
