Bio Information:

Chad began athletics when he was younger as a way of keeping fit during the AFL off-season.

He debuted for Australia at the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships where he finished fifth in the 100m event and broke both the Australian and Oceania record in the 200m race.

Perris achieved a ranking of number one in the world in the T13 100m as a result of an incredibly run race at the 2014 Australian Athletics Championships.

Chad has moved to Canberra in order to advance his training under the helpful guidance of Iryna Dvoskina.

His most embarrassing athletics moment was at the conclusion of a race where he went to fist pump a friend, in celebration, and completely missed, falling over and scraping the skin off his hand.
