Born on February 23, 1963 Tony Adamson is one of baseballs favourite sons and is the first in his sport to be inducted into the Western Australian Hall of Champions.
Playing as a power hitter for Morley Eagles and Perth Heat Adamson was a regular representative for Australia over a decade long international career. Perhaps the culmination of his career came when he represented Australia out the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.
Adamson was named five times in the ABL All-Star Teams from 1990-1994 and played for a World All Star Team against the United States national squad in the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.
Tony is rated by his contemporaries as the finest Western Australian baseballer of the 1980-2000 era.
