Aussie Stingers put world on notice defeating powerhouse Dutch team

Zoe Arancini and the Aussie Stingers staged a come from behind victory to beat the powerful Dutch team 15-12 and continue unbeaten at the Tokyo Olympics.

The first half was dominated by the Dutch to lead 8-4 at half time, putting the pressure on. The experienced Stingers were undeterred and the composure of the experienced hands saw a flurry of goals including two from Arancini.

With the tide turned and pressure on the Dutch, they had no answer for the Australian attack as they added goal after goal to seal the 15-12 win.

Victories over Canada and now the Netherlands means the Aussie Stingers are all but assured of a qaurterfinals spot.

The Aussie Stingers will continue their medal hunt on Friday 30 July against Spain at 6:50PM Perth time.
