WAIS runner Brad Scott won bronze in the 800m T37 on Saturday night.
The 24 year old runner had previously won Silver in this same event in Beijing, making him a big contender for the race.
On day 3, Scott became WAIS’s first representative to win a medal at the 2012 London Paralympic games in the Athletics. A great performance which barely missed out on the silver.
McKillop from Ireland won the gold with a world record time of 1:57:22 and Mohamed Charmi from Tunisia came second with a close time of 2:01:45.
Scott was right on Charmi’s feet at 2:02:04.
Scott’s next race is later on today in the 1500m T37 race.
