The journey our WA athletes are about to take didn’t start at WAIS, we were a stop on the road to greatness…

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and developing a Paralympian or Olympian is no different. From the parents driving aspiring sporting champions around, to the local club that they first join, their first junior/senior coach, all the way through to the high-performance environment that WAIS provides, there is an incredible team that stands behind every single athlete heading to Paris.

We are recognising and celebrating these remarkable journeys, sharing the inspiring stories of some of our WA Paralympians and Olympians.
