The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) invites applications for the WAIS Individual Athlete Support Program (IASP) for non-WAIS sport programs for the year 1st November 2008 to 31st October 2009.
IASP, which has superseded the WAIS Individual Scholarship Scheme, supports WA athletes with a range of services to enable them to reach their athletic potential. It is aimed at athletes competing in, or with the potential in the near future to compete in, open international competition in Olympic/Paralympic disciplines.
Applicants can apply using the application form available here.
Current Individual Scholarship recipients from non-WAIS programs must re-apply.
Applications should be forwarded to your State Sporting Organisation (SSO) for endorsement by Friday, September 26, 2008 who in turn will forward to WAIS.
