A number of the WAIS kayakers are in action at the Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships in Kurrawa Queensland.
Reece Baker (Marmion), Brodie Holmes (Sorrento) and Brendon Sarson (Karrinyup) representing Trigg Surf Lifesaving Club have made the final of the Ski Relay where they will be one of the race favourites.
Lockie Cooke (Mosman Bay) has also made the ski relay final with former WAIS and Australian paddler Tim Bird and brother Will Bird. With over 350 starters, all these paddlers have also progressed through the early rounds of the single ski with Baker and Sarson looking particularly impressive so far.
