Following their successful performance at the FINA World League Intercontinental Tournament earlier this year, the Aussie Sharks were able to secure their spot in the FINA World League Final.

This will be played in Ruza, Russia from the 18th to the 26th of June where the Australian will take on Russia, Croatia and Japan in the preliminary rounds.

In their last competition before the FINA World Championships, the Sharks will compete in the Citta di Siracusa, a six nation tournament held in Sicily, Italy.

This competition will feature Croatia, Greece, Italy, Russia and the USA.

Led by head coach Elvis Fatovic, the Aussie Sharks will play their first FINA World Championships game against Hungary in Budapest on the 17th of July.
