Published On: 3 July 2019

When it comes to Paralympic legacy, few Western Australian athletes can match the feats and achievements of Louise Sauvage.

She claimed nine Paralympic gold medals over an incredible career, which also saw her take to the track at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games where she won the demonstration event – wheelchair 800m.

In 2010, she was inducted into the WA Hall of Champions and in a recent interview with ABC Radio – Early Mornings with Barry Nicholls – she told their Where Are They Now segment about how she used her competitive drive to achieve sporting excellence.
