In alignment with Netball Australia and Netball WA, WAIS operates a performances services program for emerging and developing athletes, with the intention to graduate athletes to a a Suncorp Super Netball Team and the Australian Diamonds.

WAIS offers the opportunity for athletes to gain Netball Scholarships by achieving the selection criteria outlined in the Selection Guidelines, Criteria and Process.

Part of the Pathway Performance Team the performance services program is managed by Performance Services Program Manager Pathway, Laura Piromalli.

Scholarship athletes have access to the Performance Enhancement Team covering strength and conditioning and sport science and sports medicine services – physiology, psychology, biomechanics, sports nutrition and physiotherapy and support outside of sport through athlete wellbeing and engagement.
