WAIS Response to WA Government Statement on the Sport Integrity Australia Review into the WAIS Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Program

The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) acknowledges the statement made by the Hon David Templeman, Minister for Sport and Sport and Recreation, in Parliament today on the WA Government’s response to the Sport Integrity Australia Review (SIA) into the former WAIS Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Program.

As stated by the Minister, WAIS has accepted and committed to implementing all the Report recommendations. The WAIS response to the SIA WAG Review Report can be found here.

WAIS is committed to ensuring that children and young people, and indeed all our athletes, are provided with a safe and healthy training environment that facilitates their development on and off the sporting fields. WAIS will continue to work collaboratively with impacted participants, the WA Government and other stakeholders to meet these objectives.
