The Be Active Perth Wheelcats have continued their perfect start to the 2011 campaign after a clean sweep of its two match series in Dandenong.

Exactly seven days after their season opener at Herb Graham the Be Active Perth Wheelcats hit the floor in Dandenong to record a 60 point win in the first match on Saturday, before making it two from two on the road with a 47 point win in Sunday’s game.

Coupled with a first up win at home last week against the 2010 runners up Wollongong, Perth is now three from three as it attempts to win an incredible sixth straight National Wheelchair Basketball title.

A 52-21 point first half set up the win for the Wheelcats on the Saturday night with the whole travelling team managing to hit the score sheet. WAIS athlete Justin Eveson (27 points, 17 rebounds, nine assists) led the way with fellow WAIS scholarship holder Shaun Norris (24 points, nine rebounds, nine assists) not far behind him.

Back from his recent season in Barcelona, Kim Robins impressed with 20 points, shooting at 82% while superstar of the future Nick Radovich chimed in with 17 points of his own.

The Cats again got off to a flying start on Sunday with a 57-30 first half before taking their foot off the pedal to cruise to a 47 point win. Justin Eveson was again instrumental, just one assist shy of a triple double with 38 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. Kim Robins again was damaging on the scoreboard with 25 points.

After a week off the top of the ladder Be Active Perth Wheelcats return home to Herb Graham this weekend for a two game series against the Adelaide Thunder.
