The Kookaburras including WAIS graduates Tom Wickham, Trent Mitton and Aran Zalewski are in to the gold medal final against Belgium on Thursday. Matt Richardson and the Australian Team Sprint trio broke the Olympic Record on route to a strong fourth place finish. The Boomers are through to the semifinals, however the Stingers missed advancing after a narrow loss.
Coming up today, Sam Welsford rides for bronze in the team pursuit, Peter Bol is back in the 800m final Katie Ebzery and the Opals face the US in the basketball semifinals. While Nikita Hains starts her competition in the 10m platform as do Minjee Lee and Hannah Green in the golf.
