What an exciting week from Tokyo we have had. On Friday Matt Wearn secured an unassailable lead ahead of the medal race in the Laser and only needs to finish on Sunday to win gold. Lauren Reynolds finished fifth in the women’s BMX, the equal best performance by an Australian and the Matildas are in to the semifinals.
Kurtis Marschall and Peter Bol are the first WA athletes to line up in athletics. While Taylor Worth fights for a medal in the archery, our men’s water polo and basketball teams are in action and the Hockeyroos are looking to make it five in a row.
