The 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games are off to a golden start for Western Australian athletes with Ben Popham storming to gold on the opening night in the 100m freestyle S8.
In wheelchair rugby, Jake Howe and the Steelers went down by a goal in a close opening match against Denmark, while hosts Japan were too strong for the Gliders in the women’s wheelchair basketball.
