WA shooter Anton Zappelli will line up as a medal favourite at the 2019 World Shooting Para Sport World Championships, in Sydney beginning 12 October.
Zappelli will contest the R6 Mixed 50m Rifle prone SH1 and R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH1 events in Sydney.
At last years World Championships in Cheongju, South Korea he claimed bronze in the Team R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH1 along with Natalie Smith and Glen McMurtrie and finished eighth in the R3 – Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH1.
Earlier this year Zappelli won bronze in the R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH1 at the 2019 World Cup in Al Ain, UAE.
