Four WAIS hockey athletes selected in 2022 Kookaburras squad

Four WAIS athletes have been selected in the 27-player Kookaburras squad for 2022 with debutant James Collins joining Aran Zalewski, Jake Harvey and Tom Wickham.

21-year-old Collins has spent the last three years in the WAIS squad and is one of four new players selected to the experience squad.

“James Collins has been to the national junior camps and performed well,” said Kookaburras Head Coach Colin Batch.

“He has progressed a lot in the past couple of years and was part of our performance camp a couple of weeks ago so we know the positives he can bring to the group.”

Tokyo silver medallists Aran Zalewski and Tom Wickham were reselected to the squad in November last year along with Jake Harvie.
