Sonja Johnson has finished fourth in the Melbourne three day event over the weekend in her last chance to impress Olympic selectors before the five-person squad is announced next month.
Selectors will now consider the performances of equestrian athletes both home and abroad before making a decision.
Johnson will be in strong contention after claiming victory in the Sydney three day event recently and placing strongly again over the weekend.
Johnson has also scored well in International events over the past two years, adding strength to her Olympic claims.
South Australian Megan Jones won the Melbourne event on Kirby Park Irish Jester with a score of 35.9.
