Lauren Reynolds has been selected for next month’s UCI BMX World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The dual Olympian will race in the elite women’s class as part of five-strong contingent for Australia.
Reynolds won a silver medal at the 2013 World Championships in New Zealand and is the most experienced member of the Australian team.
Cycling Australia Performance Director Simon Jones said the Australian squad merged a core of experience with up and coming talent.
“We have selected a team that we believe has a mix of potential and performances,” Jones said.
“We are confident that we have the talent to challenge for podium performances in all disciplines.”
“We wish all the riders the very best in Baku.”
The 2018 UCI BMX World Championships take place from June 5-9 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
